Seosan Haemi Fortress with Buddhist Temple Day Tour

Haemi Fortress is located at Haemi Town in Seosan City, where takes about 2 hours from Seoul City. This fortress has built between the 17th year of the reign of King Taejong during Joseon Dynasty. This tour is to visit this fortress as a one day tour and you will enjoy with the delicious local food.

11:00am Haemi Fortress

You will roam around the fortress with our tour Guide.

The aim of this fortress was to protect from Japanese Pirates, and was a historical site where thousands of Catholics were executed during the French Invasion in 1866.

12:30pm Lunch : Local Food


13:30pm Gaesimsa Temple

This is the best 4 Buddhist temple in Seosan area. It's the popular local temple. This temple has built in the year of 1484 during the period of Joseon Kingdom Dynasty.

15:30pm Rock carved triad buddha in Seosan

The standing Buddha Reborn was sculptured in the center. It is also known as 'the smile of the Baekje", and it is considered to be a notable example of Buddhist images carved on rock cliffs and which were made by digging into the natural rocks and sculpting the state.

17:00pm Going back to Seoul
